Jonathan S. Zager, MD, is the assistant professor of surgery for the Divisions of Cutaneous Oncology and Sarcoma at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.

Dr. Zager graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine in 1997. He completed his surgery internship and junior residency at the North Shore University Hospital, New York University School of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Zager also completed his 2-year research fellowship in surgical oncology in 2001 at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and then completed his surgical residency at the Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Zager went on to also complete a 2-year surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. He joined the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center as a Surgical Oncologist in both the Cutaneous and the Sarcoma programs in 2006 as an assistant professor of surgery. Dr. Zager also holds the rank of assistant professor of surgery at University of South Florida College of Medicine. He is also the director of the Cutaneous Summer Internship Program at the H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, and a preceptor for the Longitudinal Experience Program at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

Dr. Zager is on numerous national committees including the Society Issues and Governmental Affairs Committee of the Society of Surgical Oncology, the Executive committee of the Sentinel Node Oncology Foundation, the Program Committees of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, a Group Committee Member of the Merkel Cell Carcinoma Working Group of the Sentinel Node Oncology Foundation, and a Committee Member of the Atypical Nevi Working Group. Dr. Zager was also the Guest Editor of the Melanoma Issue for the Cancer Control Journal.

Jarrod P. Kaufman MD, FACS, is a general and vascular surgeon that practices in Toms River and Lakewood, New Jersey at the Community and Kimball Medical Centers (CMC/KMC) for the last four years.

Dr. Kaufman graduated from Lehigh University and attended the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel-Aviv, Israel. He completed his surgical residency at the Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Kaufman is on the Foundation Board of Directors at both Community and Kimball Medical Centers and the youngest member ever to have been appointed to such a position. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the ASGS (American Society of General Surgeons). Also, due to his excellence in care and compassion towards the care of local cancer patients, he was named to the Jersey Shore Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society. He additionally serves as the American College of Surgeons cancer liaison physician for both CMC/KMC.

His clinical interests include Breast Cancer, DVT and Thromboprophylaxis, Colon and Rectal Surgery, Melanoma, Endocrine & Sarcoma, and Advanced Laparoscopy.

He lives in Toms River, NJ with his wife Rachael and 2 daughters.

Dr. Keith Delman’s clinical interests encompass melanoma and cancers of the skin; sarcoma; hepatobiliary cancers; pancreatic cancers; and cancers of the colon, rectum, and GI tract. His clinical and translational research focuses on experimental treatments of tumors of the skin, soft tissue, and gastrointestinal tract, and he is currently involved in clinical trials and protocol based treatment of melanoma, sarcoma, and gastrointestinal cancers.

After receiving his MD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1996, Dr. Delman began his general surgery residency at the Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. From 1998-2000 he did a research fellowship at the Hepatobiliary Oncology Laboratory of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, then returning to Montefiore to resume and complete his general surgery residency. When he finished his surgical oncology fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2005, he joined the Department of Surgery at Emory as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology. In 2006, he was appointed Associate Program Director of the Department’s General Surgery Residency Program as well as Coordinator of its Surgical Grand Rounds Lecture Series.

While still at MD Anderson in 2005, Dr. Delman received the institution’s Physician’s Assistants Recognition Award for Outstanding Clinical Performance. In 2006, he received Emory’s Junior Resident Teaching Award. In July 2007, the Winship Cancer Institute’s Melanoma Working Group/Multi-Disciplinary Tumor Board, co-chaired by Dr. Delman, was recognized as one of the first Melanoma Centers of Excellence named by the Melanoma Hope Network. The Winship-based program offers innovative treatment options, conducts significant clinical trials, and is working closely with the Georgia Cancer Coalition to establish a state-wide network to provide effective and efficient melanoma screening as well as access to clinical trials throughout Georgia.

In addition to being a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Hepato-Pancreatobiliary Association, and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, Dr. Delman is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of its Oncology Group. He is also establishing himself as a thought provoking speaker on a variety of cancer-related topics, is a manuscript reviewer for the Annals of Surgical Oncology, and is building an extensive bibliography.
