- Describe the pathophysiology of OAB, including differences between men and women, and its relevance to clinical management strategies
- Identify effective and sensitive communication strategies to discuss OAB with patients
- Develop a clinically feasible screening process for OAB based on identified risk factors
- Describe the diagnostic process for OAB including appropriate criteria for specialty testing
- Identify key conclusions regarding benefits and limitations of pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic therapies in OAB based on current evidence
- Set appropriate treatment goals in OAB and assess response using a validated instrument
- Integrate appropriate pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic therapies based on individualized risk-benefit analysis
- Develop appropriate follow-up plans, including assessment of treatment adherence
